Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we carry liability insurance.
Q: I have a paint problem, what caused it? and what do I do?
A: There are a lot of anwsers to this question, so I have added a link to the
bottom of this page which should anwser most questions.
Q: What type of paints do you use?
A: Most painters will answer this question by saying "I use top quality paint
from XYZ paint company". That's nice but I like to list the specific paint I will be using on a job, that way the customer
can compare the quality of paints being used by different contractors.
I like Sherwin-William and Pittsburgh the most, but each paint company has good
products and bad products. It is important to know which product from each company to use on different applications.
Q: Do you offer a warranty or guarnaty your work?
A: Yes, we offer a two year warranty on our workmanship and as always Pro-Tech
Painting & Drywall doesn't receive payment until you are completely satisfied.
Q: Do you require any money down to start the job for materials
or anything else?
A: No, we have credit accounts with our vendors and don't believe that any contractor
should need money down to start a job.
Q: Do you have to remove wallpaper before you can texture a room with wallpaper?
A: It is always best to remove existing wallpaper, but if the exsisting wallpaper is stuck
really well you can use a oilbased primer (Kilz) to seal the paper before texturing.
Q: What's the difference between contractor paint and the national lines of
paint?
A: Well in general contractors grade is not as good as national lines. As an example
Sherwin-Williams' top of the line contractor grade interior paint is Pro-Mar 200, it does not cover as well as there Super
Paint (national ). It also doesn't wash as well and it's not that much more exspensive.
Q: Can you start right away?
A: In most cases no, we are generally book out 2-3 weeks and any good contractor will have
work lined up, and if they don't? Why not?
Q: Do you do small jobs?
A: Yes, no job is too small.
