1. Expect Noise and Activity Around Your Home
Our exterior crews will be using ladders, sprayers and other equipment, so expect some noise, movement and foot traffic on and around your property.
2. Clear the Area & Prep the Yard
To help our crew work safely and efficiently, please remove any items that may block access to walls, siding or trim—like potted plants, hoses, toys, patio furniture and décor. If we’re working in the backyard, secure pets indoors or away from the work zone, and remove any pet waste near the home. While we take care to protect landscaping, tight areas may limit our ability to avoid all contact with shrubs or flower beds.
3. Driveway Access
We may need to use your driveway or side yard to access the home or set up equipment. Please move vehicles away from the driveway so our team can safely unload materials and operate tools.
4. Surface Imperfections
While we scrape, sand and prep thoroughly, older siding or woodwork may still show some imperfections, especially if the home has multiple prior paint layers or weather damage. Standard exterior painting doesn’t always correct deep surface flaws, but we’ll do our best to ensure a clean, consistent finish.
5. Protecting Your Property
Our team takes precautions to avoid damaging gutters, downspouts and other home features. However, some minor incidental wear may occur, particularly on multi-story homes or steep rooflines. If any unexpected damage happens, we’ll communicate and address it promptly. In some cases, your homeowner’s insurance may cover unavoidable damage related to construction work.
